There
are 4 different levels of the game,
each being a little more complex than the
last.
The easiest level, Level
zero, may only need
to be played if none of the players have ever
played the game before and is played only
on the 'outer circle'. Level
one enables you
to enter the 'inner circle' when sufficient
wealth has been attained (150,000 'credits').
Level two
introduces more advanced rules and techniques.
Level three encourages
you to play the game in its purest form, pitting
your wits against the other players until
a winner emerges.
The idea of the game
is to be the most successful Wheeler Dealer®,
for example, the first to have a total
wealth of 150,000 credits
on Level Zero is the winner, whereas, the
first player to have 3 million 'credits'on
Level 3 is the winner. Players start with
8,250 'credits' and a random hand of 4 red
and 4 green 'Commodity' cards. Players accumulate
wealth by selectively buying and selling 'Commodity'
cards one at a time, until a 'set' of 3 or
more identical cards has been built. Once
a 'set' has been built it may be sold to the
'bank' for 2, 3 or 4 (sometimes more) times
the 'face value' of the 'set'. This is determined
by throwing the 'multiplier dice' which only
has 2, 3 and 4 on its faces. 'Commodity' cards
sold to the 'bank' are placed at the bottom
of the coloured coded deck. |
